The World of Warcraft: Forever beta began on September 17 on PC and was originally scheduled to end on October 21. The experience was widely regarded as very positive during this dress rehearsal ahead of the game’s scheduled release on November 4, 2026.
However, Clay Stone, associate production director for the franchise, announced on X that the beta has been extended until Friday, October 23. This will allow players to spend a little more time in the MMO before the servers go offline.
In addition, Blizzard is currently conducting a server load test. Finally, players will be able to reserve their character names starting October 27 so they’ll be ready for the big day.
