CD Projekt RED details the content of the 2.5 update for Cyberpunk 2077

During a livestream this Wednesday, CD Projekt RED has detailed the features that will be introduced to Cyberpunk 2077 with the free 2.5 update. It will be rolled out on PS5, XBOX Series, and PC starting October 22, 2026. Switch 2 and Mac players will receive it at a later date.
On the game’s official website, the developers have officially announced a new side quest called Clampdown, which takes place before the events of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. The content inspired by the series also includes a new 5-piece gear set based on the character King and a new radio station, HKGN 102.0 FM, which plays music from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
As expected, cross-platform mods are coming to consoles, along with five additional clothing sets, four TWINTONE skins for the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech, hairstyles, and other cosmetic items. The appearance of cybernetic implants is now even customizable.
Finally, a new skill allows players to wield two pistols or revolvers simultaneously, and Photo Mode has been updated with additional frames and poses. The trailer briefly showcases these new features.
