Notch wants to do a spiritual sequel to Minecraft... but isn't sure he'll succeed

The year 2025 begins with something that nobody saw it coming! Ninteed, Notch (real name Markus Persson), better known as the creator of Minecraft, has announced that he wants to do another game.
In a lengthy post on X, the man himself says he has "basically announced minecraft 2". Of course, the game won't have that name, given that the license belongs to Microsoft now. Notch also said claimed that he has no intention of "sneakily infringe" Mojang's work.
In any case, Persson wants to propose a spiritual sequel and carry out a survey to find out what the players would expect from it. However, Notch has stated that he's not even sure if he'll finish the game, and that there are many things that could prevent it from releasing.
"Honestly, I'm not even sure I'll make it to launch, given the temperament I've had all my life."
"But I do know that I really like to have fun when I'm working on a game in my office, and I'd love to give it a go."
