The Squid Games event for Call of Duty will get its own battle pass

Activision has teamed up with Netflix to bring some Squid Games-content to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty Warzone with an event starting this Friday, January 3.

What's more, the American company has decided to try a little experiment that's causing quite a stir among players. The event will get its own combat pass. There's a part that's free and a premium one that's not, and both include themed rewards such as skins and operators.

This decision hasn't gone down well with the community, which criticizes Activision for launching Battle Passes whenever they can, even for short events.
