Bungie may opt to sell Marathon for $40 or so

Although Marathon seems to be in quite the predicament, the game is still an eagerly-awaited project. Not long ago, we learned that the initial internal feedback was far from positive.

Today, The Game Post reports some new details from various sources. For starters, it seems Bungie is considering marketing its new competitive title at $40, which would put it in the same ballpark as Helldivers 2.

In terms of content, Marathon is said to be class-based, and there are two maps currently playable. The concept itself would be similar to Escape from Tarkov but Bungie style. Recent feedback is a little more positive than before.

Finally, morale in the dev teams is said to be really low following the last wave of layoffs and changes in leadership.
