The creative director of Star Wars Outlaws says he's a little disappointed with his game's scores

With an average rating now set at 76% on OpenCritic (for 118 reviews), it's clear Star Wars Outlaws has failed to become one of the year's hits. So far, it's safe to assume that Ubisoft's title won't be on the list of potential GOTYs.

In an interview with GamesRadar+, creative director Julian Gerighty underlined these disappointing ratings.

"I'm a little disappointed with the Metacritic; Of course, recognition from press and critics is very important to us, but players are really connecting with what we did. This will be a game that millions of people are going to play for years and years, and we're never going to stop improving it. Well, that's a lie. We'll probably stop improving it, but today my mind is not on stopping improving it."
