According to Funcom, porting Dune: Awakening to Xbox Series S will be a challenge

One of the most promising MMORPGs due for release is Dune: Awakening. Expected first on PC in 2025, the game is coming to consoles at a later date.

Funcom Product Director Scott Junior recently spoke to VG247 about this. Indeed, a great deal of optimization will have to be done in order to bring the MMO to Microsoft's machines.

"So, it's one of the reasons we're coming out on PC first. There's a lot of optimisations we need to do before we release on the Xbox. But yeah, Xbox Series S is a challenge."
