Sony and Microsoft are in talks about Helldivers 2 coming to Xbox Series

Back in February, Phil Spencer, president of Microsoft's gaming division, spoke about the PS5 exclusivity of Helldivers 2 on the console side. Keep in mind that, although Arrowhead Game Studios is not owned by Sony, the Japanese company is in charge of publishing the game on its console as well as on PC.

However, during the Xbox Era podcast, insider Shpeshal Nick stated that Sony and Microsoft had begun talks with a view to porting Helldivers 2 to Xbox Series X|S. However, this is still on its infancy and nothing has been decided as of yet.

The arrival of Hiroki Totoki as CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment could help negotiations between the two companies. Jim Ryan has always been reluctant to negotiate with Microsoft, after all.
