Ascendant Studios (Immortals of Aveum) has laid off most of its teams

Following the commercial failure of Immortals of Aveum, Ascendant Studios announced the dismissal of 45% of its workforce last September. However, the company also stated that it had several projects in the pipeline.

Alas, the adventure is likely to be short-lived, as Kris Morness, a former member of the studio, declared on LinkedIn that Ascendant Studios has just laid off "the majority of its staff".

For the moment, we don't know whether the company will remain open or whether it's going to close its doors anytime soon.
