The studio responsible for Immortals of Aveum lays off almost half its staff

Ascendant Studios' FPS has clearly not found its audience. The release of Immortals of Aveum has unfortunately had catastrophic repercussions for the American firm.

In a press release, the company's CEO announced that 45% of its workforce had been laid off in a decision described as "painfully difficult, but necessary, and not made lightly"*. Full severance packages will be paid to those affected, as well as assistance in finding a new position.
