Ascendant Studios (Immortals of Aveum) has other games in development

Following the commercial failure of Immortals of Aveum, Ascendant Studios announced the layoff of 45% of its workforce. The California-based company will be looking to bounce back from this setback, with new projects in the pipeline.

The studio's founder, Bret Robbins, has mentioned the creation of several games. The aim of these titles, which remain mysterious for the moment, will be to explore the world of Immortals of Aveum in greater depth.

Robbins was also quick to address the poor sales of his production, citing a busy schedule at the time of release. The FPS would have been "lost in the noise" of all the big launches taking place in the August-September 2023 period.
