Rebel Wolves, a new studio founded by former CD Projekt RED staff, is working on a AAA RPG

Former CD Projekt RED developers recently founded a new studio. Called Rebel Wolves, the company is already at work on a big-budget game planned for consoles and PC.

Called Dawnwalker: Origins, it will be a narrative RPG running on Unreal Engine 5 and set in a dark-fantasy universe. With this new IP, Rebel Wolves aims to "revolutionize the RPG genre".

The open world will be smaller than that of The Witcher 3, with a map the size close to that of the Blood & Wine expansion for the third The Witcher. A large number of quests are planned.

Added to this is the fact that around a hundred people are working on the game, which is already in its alpha phase.
