Artwork from a cancelled Red Faction title surfaces

Lying dormant since 2011, it seems the Red Faction franchise is unlikely to return to the limelight for some time. However, a sequel to Red Faction: Armageddon appeared to be in development.
So we can infer from an artwork published on the Artstation website. The license belonged to THQ before being sold to Nordic Games (now THQ Nordic) in 2012. It was then taken over by Koch Media (now Plaion). The saga then returned to Volition, who had developed the very first episode.
Alas, since the studio responsible for Saints Row has closed its doors, we can imagine that a new Red Faction is definitely no longer planned.
