The Blood of Dawnwalker is getting an additional difficulty mode and other new features

Rebel Wolves is preparing a whole series of new features for The Blood of Dawnwalker. The excellent open-world action-RPG will receive a major free update starting in October.
In an interview with Eurogamer, game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz listed several features that will be included in this major patch. First, there will be a new difficulty level, which will be easier than the current Story mode. In fact, the existing Story mode will be renamed, and the new one will be even easier. This will bring the total number of difficulty levels in the game to five.
"We will introduce an additional difficulty level, but an easier one, because many people are asking for a more easy difficulty. The Story mode which we have right now will be a different difficulty - we will call it Demanding or something like this - and we will add a new Story mode which will be even easier for people who don't want to experience the combat, they just want to learn the story and go through the game without this gameplay challenge."
In terms of combat, targeting and camera behavior are currently being improved. In particular, the devs will stop the automatic target switching that occurs when an enemy uses a special ability. This is not a bug, but rather a feature intended by Tomaszkiewicz (who has apologized for it). Additionally, it will soon be easier to flee from battles.
Finally, the performance of The Blood of Dawnwalker will be further optimized. PC players are specifically asking for the ability to reach 120 FPS on the most powerful machines. Rebel Wolves will likely address this issue.
