Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has already sold more than 2 million copies

This is just the breath of fresh air Ubisoft needed! Released on Thursday, July 9, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is already a commercial success.
In just 24 hours, the remake of the fourth installment in the series surpassed 2 million copies sold worldwide. This figure, of course, includes all platforms.
The French publisher has also addressed the controversy surrounding the addition of microtransactions to the game. The company simply told the website GamesRadar+ that these elements are optional and therefore not necessary to enjoy the experience.
« We've seen your feedback since launch, and we're reading all of it. Thank you for caring this much about Black Flag Resynced. We want to be clear on one point: the standard edition is the full, complete experience. Every mission, every island, the full story, and the complete world are all there, with nothing held back. The additional packs are entirely optional extras for players who want them, never a requirement to enjoy or complete the game.
We'll keep listening as you play! »
