Ubisoft apparently had plans for a previously unseen epilogue for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. This cutscene was discovered by Sliderv2 on YouTube. It’s a post-credits sequence that was never finalized. As a result, some elements are understandably missing.
The cutscene in question takes place in a London tavern, five years after the game’s ending. Having definitively turned his back on the world of piracy, Edward Kenway has fully committed himself to the Brotherhood of Assassins. He is seated at the table with Miko, the leader of the British Assassins. He will later be killed by Haytham Kenway—Edward’s son, who has become a Templar—in Assassin’s Creed III. Adéwalé, the former slave who became a pirate and then an Assassin, also makes an appearance.
The video is available below. We don’t know why the developers ultimately chose not to include it in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
