Bungie encourages reviewers to wait until the end of March to publish their Marathon reviews

Despite being available since Thursday, March 5, the specialist press has yet to post its reviews on Marathon. And there is a good reason for that.

The Notebookcheck website has revealed that Bungie has asked the press not to publish their reviews immediately. The studio wants reviewers to reach the game's endgame zone (the Cryo Archive) before giving their verdict. This zone will introduce raid mechanics with increased overall difficulty.

However, Cryo Archive won't be available until the second half of March. It should be noted that this is a request or suggestion from Bungie and is not imposed by an embargo. The press therefore remains free to publish its reviews at any time.
