Fallout 5 will share the same universe as the TV series

At long last, the first episode of season 2 of Fallout is available on Prime Video. To mark the occasion, Todd Howard, creative director and producer at Bethesda Game Studios, went on a media tour.

During his appearance on the BBC, the topic of Fallout 5 naturally came up. Howard made a small revelation on the subject, stating that the game and the TV series will share the same universe.

"Fallout 5 will be existing in a world where the stories and events of the show happened or are happening. We are taking that into account."

So it wouldn't be surprising to find references to the TV series in Fallout 5. Of course, all this could still change, as the game isn't expected to be released for several years.
