Diablo IV players on PS5 face invalid license problem

Blizzard may have been too optimistic about the robustness of the Diablo IV servers, but the American studio clearly hadn't anticipated another problem that manifested itself at the launch of its game (in early access) this Friday.

Indeed, several reports indicate that players were unable to play because "the inability to find a valid Diablo IV license ". PlayStation users in North America seem to be the main ones affected by this error. The developers reacted swiftly, indicating that they were aware of the problem. and posted on the official forum that "The team is looking into this right now and will update once we have more information"*.

In addition, some players have noticed that Diablo IV becomes accessible again once an in-game purchase has been made. Performing a transaction would allow the system to recover the famous lost license... But this solution is far from ideal, since it requires another purchase.
