What are we playing this weekend? #6
, by Thibaut
This week, gamers will finally be able to dive into the world of Diablo IV (via early access) and the latest fighting game hit Street Fighter 6. While these blockbusters are already proving to be unmissable, other smaller productions are also well worth a look.
So, we're going to highlight five games recently released on Steam and acclaimed by users.
1. Planet of Lana
With growing popularity due to its inclusion in Game Pass on the day of its release, Planet of Lana follows the adventures of a young girl and her friend in a colorful world. To progress, they must solve small environmental puzzles while braving all kind of dangers. An intimate, poetic epic that deserves to be discovered.
**2 Inkbound
Currently in early access, this turn-based multiplayer roguelike invites players (up to four in co-op) to battle fearsome creatures as a team. All with a character class system and the possibility of upgrading skills over the hours.
3. Halls of Torment
A roguelite where you simply have to slaughter hordes of monsters. Halls of Torment features ultra-fast gameplay (around 30 minutes a round), old-school graphics and an extensive bestiary to battle.
4. The Baby in Yellow
Another early access title that makes you feel a little uncomfortable, asking you to play baby-sitter. Alas, baby-sitting can quickly turn into a nightmare if the little one isn't fed, washed or roughed up... Beware of dreams.
5. Town of Salem 2
Up to 14 players can team up to investigate the mysteries of Town of Salem 2. Each player will occupy a specific role and possess unique abilities. Communication will be the key to success.
