Blizzard says Diablo IV servers will resist on launch day

The launch of a big-budget game isn’t always smooth sailing. And the situation can become critical when the title in question depends on the servers running smoothly. This will be the case with Diablo IV, which opens its doors to players in early access on June 2.

Once again, the people at Blizzard seem to be pretty calm about it. Diablo license manager Rod Fergusson reassured fans that they have identified and corrected any problems that may have arisen on the successive betas.

"We've done the work we could do to make launch day as smooth as possible. And we feel good about where we are."
