Following its release on Xbox, Helldivers 2 has surpassed the 500.000 concurrent players

Helldivers 2 released this week on Xbox Series S|X, and the game has made a spectacular comeback, welcoming several hundred thousand additional players.

On Reddit, users noticed that this second installment had quickly surpassed 400,000 concurrent players. Later, Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Shams Jorjani shared a screenshot on Discord showing that 500,000 people were playing at the same time.

In rather colorful language, Jorjani even asked the community to stop "shitting themselves". He was referring to his statement last May in which he said that players would "shit themselves" when they saw the content coming to Helldivers 2.
