Battlefield 6 may not include skins deemed too unrealistic

Call of Duty has been criticized often for its collaborations that don't fit with the military FPS genre. American Dad, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Fallout have all made appearances in various entries in the past.

Fortunately, Battlefield 6 could be taking a different direction. This is what the developers seem to be implying when asked about the cosmetic elements that will be added to their game in the coming weeks and months.

"The thing we can say, we are a military shooter in modern times."

While the statement is rather vague, it's safe to assume that it means EA will only do collaborations that fit with the context and content of the base game.
