The Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 devs don't want to expand their teams

The success of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 could have gone to Sandfall Interactive's head. However, the French studio has no intention of getting carried away and remains focused on its goals.

During an interview with Automaton, the game's lead programmer Tom Guillermin stated that increasing the size of the studio's team is far from being in their minds for now.

"I think that, for now, I’d prefer working as a small team. I’m not sure how big 'an ideal team' would be (laughs). But when it comes to making a full-priced turn-based RPG, I believe that the team we have now is just the right size."

In addition, Sandfall CEO Guillaume Broche pointed out that the studio has used externa teams for QA, localization and marketing campaigns so far.
