The Mass Effect-inspired Battlefield 6 items have been removed from the game

Electronic Arts has apparently cleaned house in Battlefield 6. In fact, users have noticed that items from a future collaboration have been removed from the FPS.

These items were inspired by the Mass Effect franchise. Their removal likely occurred following the announcement of the cancellation of the next installment and the closure of BioWare. These in-game items included a Normandy keychain to attach to weapons, map backgrounds, stickers, spray paint designs, and weapon skins.

Added to the cosmetics menu before being removed, these items were likely intended to be available for N7 Day (the annual celebration dedicated to Mass Effect), which was scheduled for November 7.
