The Stop Killing Games petition reaches one million signatures

As we told you earlier this week, the Stop Killing Games petition was about to reach a major milestone in the bid to be considered by the European Commission.

The European initiative has now passed the million-signature mark. However, it is encouraged to continue registering new signatures to compensate for those that may be deemed invalid. A new target of up to 1.4 million has now been set.

It should be remembered that “Stop Killing Games” could make it possible to establish a law within the EU so that publishers and studios can no longer make their games unplayable after several years.
