In this selection, we're only going to focus on the news that came out after the Summer Game Fest period. A lot has happened since Monday, and we're going to recap it all.

1. Could The Witcher 3 get a new DLC as early as 2026?

4. Xbox has several big releases planned for its 25th anniversary

While there were plenty of absentees at the showcase, Microsoft clearly has a big year in store for 2026. Phil Spencer confirmed that Fable, Gears of War: E-Day and Forza will be present. Let's hope for some Halo too.

There was a new Just Cause in development at Sumo Digital, but it ended up being canned around 2023. That's all we know for now.

9. The controversy surrounding Splitgate 2 overpriced DLC

The free-to-play FPS was launched with absolutely insane microtransactions. Packs (on sale!) were sold for $80. The studio's CEO blamed the company's former CFO and went for a price cut.

10. The RTX 5050 will feature GDDR6 memory

NVIDIA has decided to opt for GDDR6 memory for its RTX 5050. Rumors of GDDR7 memory appear to have been wrong.

Originally scheduled for March 26, 2027, the live-action feature The Legend of Zelda will finally be released on May 7, 2027.
