MindsEye devs have apologized for the state of the game and Sony is issuing refunds for it

There's an air of Cyberpunk 2077 and its December 2020 release going for MindsEye, which is currently a sore point for Build A Rocket Boy, which probably released its game far too early. Publisher IO Interactive is no doubt no stranger to such an abject failure either.
In any case, the studio has addressed players with a message posted on X. First and foremost, the developers wish to rectify the performance issues and have apologized for all the trouble caused.
"A heartfelt thank you to all our day-one players. We know the launch of MindsEye hasn’t been without its challenges for some of you."
"Right now, our top priority is game performance. We understand that the requirements are high and have limited the experience for many of you, and for this, we sincerely apologize."
"Improving performance across all devices is our immediate focus. A patch that begins our commitment to address this is scheduled for the end of this week on PC, which will also roll out to consoles as soon as possible."
At the same time, and just like with Cyberpunk 2077, Sony has decided to refund some users who bought MindsEye. In particular, one user pointed to the fact that “the official launch trailer states that the PS5 Pro features 60 FPS gameplay, but this is not the case".
The Japanese firm has acknowledged the existence of these problems and has decided to issue refunds. It should be noted that the brand does not normally issue refunds on purchases made via PlayStation Store.
