The God of War Metroidvania spin-off will feature Kratos' brother

Things are getting up to speed around the supposed new God of War that could be released this year. It's said to be a smaller-scale project in the form of a 2.5D Metroidvania.

Also, insider Shpeshal Nick seems to have revealed an important detail about this spin-off's story. The player will not play the role of Kratos, but his brother Deimos in Greece. Deimos is a little-known character, having only appeared in the PSP episode God of War: Ghost of Sparta released in November 2010.

The official announcement should come this year, and why not at the State of Play to be held this Wednesday, June 4.
