Nintendo may be working on a successor to Ring Fit Adventure
, by Thibaut
Ring Fit Adventure came out back in October 2019, and quickly made a name for itself when it came to fitness gaming. By May 2023, the title had sold 15.4 million units worldwide.
The Nintendo Patents Watch account on Bluesky noted that the manufacturer had filed a patent in Europe on May 23. It concerns "accessories for video game controllers". However, the images linked to this patent are kept secret for 30 days and cannot be consulted for the time being.
The registered designer of this patent is Fumiyoshi Suetake. We owe him the Nintendo Alarmo alarm clock and, above all, the Ring-Con used on Ring Fit Adventure. In fact, the Japanese firm has extended the legal protection on the game to 2023 in the USA and 2024 in Japan.
This suggests that a Ring Fit Adventure 2 could be on the way.
