The sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 will feature a new city similar to Chicago

The creator of the Cyberpunk universe has revealed details about CD Projekt RED's next game. In addition to Night City, players are likely to get a whole new city to explore in what is currently being called "Project Orion".

According to Mike Pondsmith, this second city will be a sort of “Chicago gone wrong"*. It's important to note that Pondsmith is not directly involved in the game's development. He was, however, able to consult scripts and interact with various departments at CD Projekt RED.

Pondsmith declined to comment further, apparently revealing this tidbit by accident. As this new Cyberpunk is still in the early stages of production, some things may change along the way.
