A job offer for Cyberpunk 2 seems to confirm the presence of a multiplayer component

There’s still a long way to go before we get to enjoy Cyberpunk 2. CD Projekt RED is primarily focused on The Witcher 4, which is scheduled for release in 2028. However, a job posting seems to confirm a new detail.

To qualify for the position of lead quest programmer on Cyberpunk 2, the Polish studio requires an "understanding of multiplayer network architecture and client-server synchronization for game state/quests". This suggests the presence of a multiplayer component.

Of course, anything could still change during development. Cyberpunk 2077 had absolutely no multiplayer aspect.
