Microsoft could launch the Oblivion remaster in late spring/early summer and Gears of War: E-Day this year

It's been a busy week for Microsoft, with quite an excellent Developer_Direct. 2025 could be a pivotal year for the American company, and there's two titles that could play a big part here.

Tom Warren is back with new scoops on the remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Last year, The Verge's reporter learned that Xbox was planning a late spring or early summer release for the game.

In addition, Microsoft was also planning to release Gears of War: E-Day (announced last June) later this year. Of course, plans could have changed since then.

Warren ends by saying that he hopes to see more on Contraband and Clockwork Revolution on this year's Xbox Game Showcase, scheduled for June.
