Final Fantasy XVI will use all of the DualSense's features

The development of the sixteenth installment of the franchise has ended this week and Square Enix has taken the opportunity to share some interesting information with us. Since it will be released exclusively on PS5 at first, Final Fantasy XVI will make use of the various functions of the DualSense controller.

For example, the adaptive triggers will be used "to emphasize the sense of effort and resistance" when lifting harrows and opening heavy doors. The triggers will also come into play when our hero rides on the back of a Chocobo. As for the haptic feedback, it will reproduce audio effects (such as the movement of air) as vibrations during cutscenes.
