A Final Fantasy XVi bug preventing progress in New Game + will be fixed soon

Here's a quite embarrassing problem in Final Fantasy XVI that has been aknowledged by Square Enix. Some players who have started New Game + can't progress in the main story.

Indeed, by choosing this mode and then skipping the prologue, there's a small chance that the members of our hero's group won't appear, which makes it impossible to finish the quest in progress. The Japanese publisher states that once they find out what's happening, a patch will be launched as soon as possible.

In the meantime, affected players can hope to get around the problem by restarting a game in New Game + without skipping the prologue. In the meantime, we recommend loading a save file located before the launch of New Game+, moving to another location on the map, saving and then restarting New Game+ from that file.
