ARK 2 has been postponed to the end of 2024; the first ARK will get a remastered version in August 2023
, by Thibaut
There are some changes in Studio Wildcard's schedule. The creators of ARK have announced a slight upheaval in their release calendar. And it starts with dear ARK 2, whose launch has been pushed back to the end of 2024. This is disappointing news for fans who can, however, console themselves with a relatively appealing new project.
Thus, the first installment will get a new lease of life by August of next year in the form of a new version called ARK: Survival Ascended. This remastered version will use the Unreal Engine 5 to give us a visually stunning experience. The water will be dynamic, the foliage interactive, the physics revamped, and the overall performance optimized.
PS5 players can purchase ARK: Survival Ascended for around 40 euros. As for PC and Xbox Series users, they will only be able to get the remastered version by purchasing a bundle that includes the game and ARK 2 for 49.99 euros. The bundle will be available for a year. After that, the two titles will be sold separately. The owners of this pack will also have exclusive access to the closed beta of ARK 2 in 2024. The beta will remain accessible for one month.
