The devs behind Tales of Kenzera: ZAU are working on a new ARPG

Surgent Studios made it to the news quite recently, but not for the right reasons. Following the commercial failure of Tales of Kenzera: ZAU, the firm was on the verge of shutting down its video game section.
However, the studio has made a more positive announcement to Video Games Chronicle. Surgent is hard at work on Project Uso, an *isometric, Afro-Gothic action RPG inspired by Planescape: Torment. It takes place in the same Tales of Kenzera universe, but is "darker, it's more visceral, it's gritty".
It is important to point out that Surgent Studios is currently looking for a partner to finance the game, so its future is far from certain yet.
