Rare has withdrawn almost all the new features from Season 14 of Sea of Thieves following plenty of problems

Available since a few days ago, Season 14 of Sea of Thieves has quickly turned into a fiasco, with Rare having to withdraw most of the new features.

The company has removed the disguise and crouch features as they were causing "significant problems" according the British studio. The game is far less stable now.

In a video, Production Director Drew Stevens mentions that these additions "had a number of side effects on the overall experience". This was particularly the case in PvP, with the ability to change weapons more quickly, and even to become invincible.

Rare has apologized and will try to relaunch these new features in the near future once all the problems have been ironed out.
