In the end, Microsoft won't stop selling Xbox consoles in Saudi Arabia
, by Thibaut
Earlier this week, Microsoft fell prey to a strange rumor that said that the American company was to stop selling Xbox in Saudi Arabia.
Given the relatively low sales of the Xbox Series when compared to the PS5, some saw this as a kind of abandonment of consoles by Microsoft.
However, this doesn't seem to be the case, with Ami Silverman, the company's Sales Director, promptly denying the news.
"Xbox devices are available in all current Xbox hardware-supported countries, including Saudi Arabia. Console availability may vary by country but Xbox games can be played on consoles, PCs, and on phones, tablets or TVs where Xbox Cloud Gaming is available."
A rather pompous statement, yes, but one that confirms that these consoles will remain available in Saudi Arabia.
