AMD has begun selling new products, including the Ryzen AI 300 Pro series.
The Ryzen AI 300 Pro series, dubbed "Strix Point", comes with Zen 5 architecture and RDNA 3.5 technology. Available models include the 12-core, 24-thread Ryzen AI 9 HX Pro 375, with boosted frequency up to 5.1 GHz and 36 MB cache. The Ryzen AI 9 HX Pro 370 has similar specifications, with one exception: its NPU is reduced from 55 TOPS to 50. The Ryzen AI 7 Pro 360, meanwhile, offers 8 cores and 16 threads, with a boosted frequency of up to 5.0 GHz and 24 MB cache.
As the name suggests, these processors are specially designed for AI, and are aimed primarily at a professional audience. Competition in this new AI segment is fierce, and many players in the sector are fighting to come out on top.
