Blizzard believes that the issues fixed in the Diablo IV beta will result in a smoother launch

As expected, the Diablo IV beta was plagued with technical issues. Players found themselves stuck in queues for several hours, while others were unable to connect. Blizzard has deployed fixes to improve the gameplay experience, which should be much better in the final version of the game.
Rod Fergusson, the franchise lead, emphasized that a beta is not just a demo, but a large-scale technical test. He mentioned that this beta allowed the servers to be put to the test and that the beginning was “a bit challenging” last Friday.
Fergusson added that six fixes were deployed during the weekend, and dozens of issues were addressed. Thus, Diablo IV should be in a better position for its open beta (March 24-26) and its launch (June 6).
