Infogrames has acquired the rights to the Surgeon Simulator IP

Last April, Atari announced the return of Infogrames, its publishing label. Well-known to those who have been gaming for a long time, the company will be making possible various projects.

We have just learned that Infogrames has acquired the rights to the Surgeon Simulator franchise, formerly owned by tinyBuild. The company's manager, Geoffroy Chateauvieux, had quite something to say about the acquisition.

"More than 10 years after the release of the original, Surgeon Simulator remains a popular and unique franchise. This was a rare opportunity to acquire a game with a timeless appeal, and we are excited to have Surgeon Simulator within the Infogrames portfolio."
