A patent for a PlayStation controller reveals the use of conductive ink to make it fully customizable

Sony has filed a brand-new patent with quite an innovative concept for its PlayStation controllers, based on the use of conductive ink. This would allow gamers to create a personalized layout, perfectly suited to their style of play. This patent, if realized, could revolutionize the way we interact in games.

This would be done on a flat surface, with the player personally drawing the button layout, spacing and shape of the keys to suit their needs, all using conductive ink.

It would also appear that it comes with an "anti-fatigue" key is present, designed to offer players advanced control of the pressure required on the buttons, enhancing the gaming experience by making it more fluid and enjoyable.

Note, however, that this is still at the patent stage, and there is no guarantee that any of this will come to fruition.
