Final Fantasy IX Remake is still in development but with some issues

The insider @MbKKssTBhz5, very active on X.com, has once again spoken out about the Final Fantasy IX remake. She claims that the remake is still being worked on, but has run into a few problems.

According to hwe, the game wasn't cancelled when Square Enix restructured. However, the company had subcontracted its development to another studio and they were not satisfied with the result, so it has been delayed.

She also states that he has no further information on the subject, or even whether the game could be releasedin this fiscal year. In addition, he prefers to temper gamers' expectations regarding the Xbox Games Showcase, in which Square Enix will unveil some games, but she doesn't know if Final Fantasy IX Remake will be there.
