The Final Fantasy IX Remake project is reportedly on hold

Many have been waiting for it, but the Final Fantasy XI Remake may never see the light of day. The project has been the talk of the town for several years now, but unfortunately, it seems to be in trouble despite strong demand from players.

In his latest podcast, insider NateTheHate stated that the game is currently at a standstill. This suspension doesn’t mean the remake has been completely canceled, but rather that no progress has been made recently.

Hope remains, although the release of Final Fantasy IX Remake is far from guaranteed.
