The creator of Monkey Island is working on a new game which could be released at the end of the year

Ron Gilbert, the mastermand behind the iconic Monkey Island franchise, is currently at work on a new game. We don't know the name just yet, but what we do know is that it's scheduled for release at the end of 2024. However, we can't rule out a delay to early 2025.
The title in question is described as “a classic Zelda meets Diablo meets Thimbleweed Park”. Nothing else is known at present. Gilbert has recruited Elissa Black, who has worked on games such as Swords of Freeport, TownCraft, Metrocide and Objects in Space.
