Two Joy-Con drift lawsuits have been dismissed in U.S. courts

While the we all know about Joy-Con drift, having led to an apology from Nintendo in 2020, the fault still persists on many of the Japanese company's controllers.

This led to major lawsuits, two of which were dismissed in US courts after a five-year wait. While the responsibles accused Nintendo of knowingly selling defective controllers, this failed to convince the American justice system.

Nevertheless, in 2022, a former supervisor of a Joy-Con repair center in the U.S. claimed that the company was flooded with shipments of controllers with drift problems.

Another told Kotaku that thousands of controllers were arriving every week, and that they had eventually set up a new workspace dedicated solely to Joy-Con repair.
