Microsoft could be announcing a new Doom this year

The American company seems to be intent on putting out the fire caused by the closure of several studios last week. To this end, the Xbox Games Showcase on june 9 could be filled to the brim with all kinds of announcements.

While a new Call of Duty, Gears 6 and Fable are expected to be part of the line-up, another title seems to be on the verge of being made official. In a message published on X.com, The Verge journalist Tom Warren hinted to a new DOOM being announced.

Documents shared as part of the lawsuit between Microsoft and the FTC stated that the game could be called DOOM Year Zero.
