Drop Bear Bytes announces two patches for Broken Roads following mixed launch

With a score of 60% on Metacritic and mixed reviews on Steam, Broken Roads got off to a relatively rocky start. This post-apocalyptic narrative RPG, heavily inspired by the early Fallout titles, is plagued by bugs and some questionable progress-related choices.

Studio Drop Bear Bytes is well aware of this, and has just announced two new updates for PC. The first will be available on April 19 and will add a number of new features, such as more combat at the start of the game, improved random encounters and restrictions on the stats of certain weapons. It will also be possible to manually upgrade companion levels. Last but not least, there's various fixes (translation, quests, animations, etc.) included.

The second patch will be out mid-May and introduce new interactions with companions, better equipment, greater control over the hero's skills and more content for the final chapter. We'll also get new dialog options, as well as personalized keyboard shortcuts.
