The resounding success of the Fallout TV series has had an immediate effect on the games' popularity. Indeed, the games available on Steam have been welcoming large numbers of players in recent hours.
Thanks to SteamDB, we learn that Fallout 4 achieved a peak of 46,226 simultaneous users over the last 24 hours, a record figure since June 2018. For its part, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition climbs to 2728 simultaneous players, the best result since December 2015. Meanwhile Fallout 76 peaks at 20,320 people connected at the same time, again a new record since May 2020.
Of course, we're only talking about the Steam versions of these three games. It's impossible to know what the situation is on other platforms. Several of these games are currently available to Prime Gaming subscribers, too
